What is Transported?

Transported is an all-in-one virtual reality tour platform. Our Transported Creator software allows you to create your own VR tours. Then tours are published to our VR apps and website where they’re viewable by anyone. Read this for a little more in-depth info about us.

How do you compare against Matterport?

There are a number of ways we’re different—and in our opinion better—than Matterport:

  1. You can use your own DSLR or 360° camera. No need to buy a $4,000 proprietary camera.
  2. We are native VR. Google Cardboard is cool, but it’s like comparing a black and white TV set to a modern 4K HDR TV. Our solution runs on real native VR headsets like Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR. But we’re also viewable on devices like computers and smartphones with no plug-ins required.
  3. Hosting is free. You only pay once to publish a tour. Once published, we’ll host it forever for free.
